Around the World in 10 Days!
The first world circumnavigation was completed on the 6th of September 1522, by Ferdinand Magellan’s Spanish expedition; after a journey of 3 years and 1 month.
The current record for fastest aerial circumnavigation is hold by Riccardo & Gabriel Mortara. In 2010, flying a Rockwell Sabreliner 65, completed the 36,770 kilometres (22,850 mi) minimum distance around the world in 57 hours 54 minutes.
